Diana Coconubo

Diana Coconubo, aka “D” (click for resume) was born in Bogota, Colombia. In search of a better life, her parents immigrated their family to the wintery city of Manchester, New Hampshire in the mid 80's.

Diana was raised in a Spanish speaking home which allowed her to speak English and Spanish at a young age. Her father, Hector, comes from a long lineage of artists and musicians. Thus, Diana found herself  drawn to the arts, as well as athletics.

After attending Manchester Central High School, Diana enrolled at the University of Vermont, in the quaint town of Burlington. She says that Vermont has her heart, and hopes to own a home with a barn on Lake Champlain.

D graduated with a B.A in Political Science with a double minor in Studio Art and Spanish. In September of 2007, she drove across the country, landing in Los Angeles, with nothing more than a Honda Civic. She started her acting studies, in earnest, at the Joanne Baron D.W. Brown Studio.

Having completed this post-grad program, she has studied at The Ruskin Studio, Upright Citizens Brigade, and several others.

Diana co-produced/directed/and starred in Neil LaBute's critically acclaimed play FAT PIG at the Electric Lodge in Venice Beach, CA with Tracey Sayed.

Currently Diana is in post-production of her first short film, Fernanda, a dark look at the immigration crisis in America. The film is set to be released in the fall of 2019.

"There are two places where I lose track of time, the theater and on set. If you can find this type of passion, do whatever it takes to bring it into your life"
